This is a partial implementation of Node.js's `crypto` module for React Native, providing cryptographic functions like hashing, HMAC, PBKDF2, random bytes generation, and AES encryption/decryption. It's designed for React Native developers who need Node.js-compatible crypto functionality in their mobile applications, particularly those migrating Node.js code to React Native or building secure mobile apps requiring cryptographic operations. The project is now deprecated in favor of using `react-native-get-random-values` with `crypto-browserify`.
