sails‑auth is a Sails.js hook that adds Passport‑based user authentication (local, basic, OAuth, etc.) and session handling to a Sails application, with optional integration into the sails‑permissions role‑based access system. It’s aimed at Sails developers who need a ready‑made, configurable login solution for web or API projects.
