Growly is a tiny Node.js library that lets any JavaScript app send Growl desktop notifications via the Growl Network Transport Protocol (GNTP) without pulling in external dependencies. It provides simple `register`, `notify`, and `setHost` methods so developers can quickly integrate custom‑icon, priority‑aware, sticky or categorized alerts into tools that run on machines with Growl installed. This is aimed at Node developers who need lightweight, programmatic Growl notifications.
