This project processes German Census grid data to create compressed vector tiles for interactive mapping. It converts CSV census data into GeoJSONL format, generates multiple resolution levels, and produces VersaTiles containers for efficient web-based visualization using MapLibre GL. The tool is designed for developers and data journalists working with German demographic data who need to create performant, interactive maps of census statistics at various zoom levels.
