iD is a friendly JavaScript editor for OpenStreetMap that provides a simple, web-based interface for editing map data. It's designed for anyone who wants to contribute to OpenStreetMap, from casual mappers to more experienced contributors, by offering an intuitive way to perform basic editing tasks without compromising data integrity. The project runs in modern desktop browsers and uses D3.js for data rendering.
