Remove user selection and then get it back on

Toggle Selection is a tiny JavaScript utility for web pages that lets you temporarily clear the user’s text selection and later restore it. It exports a function that, when called, deselects the current browser selection and returns a “reselect” callback to bring the same range back—useful for scripts that need to manipulate the DOM without interfering with the user’s highlight. The package is aimed at front‑end developers who need a simple way to toggle selection state in browsers.
