Decanter is a web design and development system for Stanford University that provides a responsive layout system and collection of design patterns for use in Stanford projects. It uses Tailwind CSS to generate utility classes with customization for Stanford's design system, replacing the previous SASS/SCSS and BEM approach. The system includes comprehensive documentation, accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.0 AA standards, and provides font and icon resources through third-party services rather than including assets directly.
