This is a deprecated Storybook addon for running PostCSS preprocessing on your stories. It was designed for Storybook developers who needed PostCSS integration for styling their components, but has since been replaced by more modern alternatives like @storybook/addon-styling-webpack and @storybook/addon-themes. The addon allowed configuration of PostCSS plugins, supported PostCSS v8+ through custom implementation, and offered loader options for style, CSS, and PostCSS loaders.
