JITDB is a fast, lightweight database built on top of an append-only log, designed for easy understanding and use in both browser and Node.js environments. It automatically generates and maintains indexes as data is queried, optimizing for speed and minimal storage by only indexing what's needed – making it ideal for querying large datasets efficiently. The project provides a flexible API with composable operators for querying and supports features like pagination and custom indexing.
