Crossfilter is a JavaScript library designed for exploring large multivariate datasets in the browser, enabling fast (<30ms) interactions with coordinated views even for datasets with a million or more records. It is ideal for analytics applications, such as slicing and dicing payment histories, and is particularly useful for developers building interactive data visualizations or dashboards. The project is no longer actively maintained by Square, but an actively maintained fork is available under the Crossfilter Organization.
