The **SmartThings SmartApp Node.js SDK** provides a JavaScript/Node‑JS library for building SmartThings SmartApps that run as either an HTTP webhook or an AWS Lambda function. It abstracts the SmartThings REST API, lifecycle‑event handling, configuration pages, i18n, logging and token management (with pluggable context stores such as DynamoDB or Firestore), making it easier for developers to create custom automations and integrations for the SmartThings platform.
