Podcatcher is a Node.js library that simplifies building podcast‑catcher applications. It provides helper functions for fetching, parsing and storing RSS feed metadata in a LevelDB database, and can retrieve or download the latest (or dated) episode’s media files. It’s aimed at developers who want a lightweight way to manage podcast feeds within JavaScript/Node projects.
