Infection Monkey is an open-source security tool designed to simulate realistic cyberattacks by automatically propagating across a network to test a data center's defenses. It's primarily for security professionals and IT teams conducting penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in internal infrastructure and perimeter security. The tool consists of a self-propagating "Monkey" agent and a central "Monkey Island" server for control and visualization.
