gulp-contribs is a Gulp plugin that automatically generates and inserts a list of contributors into a project's README.md file, giving credit to open-source contributors. It's designed for developers maintaining open-source projects who want to easily acknowledge contributors without manually updating the README. The plugin allows customization of where the contributor list is inserted by specifying start and end strings in the file.
