This is a demo project showcasing how React Server Components (RSC) with streaming can dramatically improve Web Vitals compared to traditional SSR with lazy-loading. Built with React 19, Rails 7, and react-on-rails, it features a restaurant marketplace discovery platform that demonstrates a 59% faster LCP and 83% less layout shift when using RSC. The project includes two versions of the same application - one using traditional client-side data fetching and another using server-side data fetching with streaming - allowing direct comparison of performance metrics.
