**on-body** is a tiny JavaScript utility that invokes a callback as soon as `document.body` becomes available, allowing scripts loaded in the `<head>` to safely append elements to the page. It’s aimed at front‑end developers who need a reliable “body‑ready” hook without using larger frameworks or waiting for DOMContentLoaded. The library is lightweight, MIT‑licensed, and maintained (though currently on hold) by Segment.
