Temporal is a JavaScript library for non-blocking, temporal task sequencing, designed for use with robots built with Johnny-Five. It allows for sub-millisecond task scheduling and is ideal for timing-sensitive programs running on systems where the power source is tuned to accommodate the specific program, such as walking, driving, flying, or water-based robots. Temporal is not suitable for sparse task scheduling due to its high CPU usage.
