Cajón is a lightweight JavaScript module loader that sits on top of RequireJS and lets browsers load modules written in either CommonJS/Node‑style or AMD syntax. It’s aimed at developers who have existing CommonJS code (or prefer that style) but want to bundle everything with the RequireJS optimizer and optionally replace the full RequireJS runtime with a small shim like almond.
