`preact-material-components` is a thin wrapper around [material-components-web](https://material.io/develop/web) that provides Preact components for Material Design. It allows developers to import individual components without the bloat of unused code, making it ideal for building lightweight, modern web applications. The project is currently deprecated for Preact 8+ compatibility but supports various distributions for different use cases, including ES modules and TypeScript.
