git‑commits‑to‑changelog is a small command‑line tool (and library) that scans a Git repository’s commit history and automatically formats it into a markdown changelog. It’s aimed at developers who want a quick, npm‑installable way to generate or update release notes—either from all past commits or incrementally with the `--append` flag.
