Precinct is a Node‑based utility that scans source files (JavaScript, Sass, Stylus, etc.) and extracts their import/require statements, returning a list of module dependencies. It’s useful for build tools, bundlers, or analysis scripts that need to programmatically discover a file’s dependencies, with options to include or exclude Node core modules and to customize underlying detectors.
