gulp‑expect‑file is a Gulp 4 plugin that lets you assert which files should appear (or not) in a stream and optionally verify their contents or existence on disk. It’s aimed at developers writing or testing other Gulp pipelines, providing configurable expectations, reporting of missing/unexpected files, and error handling for automated build or test suites.
