Code Highlight Linenums is a tiny Node/Browser library that takes the HTML output from **highlight.js** and wraps each line in `<span>` elements so line numbers can be shown using only CSS. It’s aimed at web developers who already use highlight.js for syntax‑highlighted code blocks and want an easy way to add configurable, CSS‑styled line numbers without extra JavaScript.
