Link Preview JS is a lightweight Node‑compatible library that fetches a URL (or extracts one from a text block) and parses its HTML/OpenGraph metadata to return a structured preview—including title, description, images, videos, favicons and media type. It’s aimed at developers who need server‑side or mobile‑runtime link‑preview functionality (e.g., chat apps, social feeds) while providing options for custom headers, redirect handling, and security safeguards against SSRF.
