The **ecma‑webpack‑plugin** is a small Webpack plugin that scans the bundle’s emitted JavaScript files and checks that they conform to a specified ECMAScript version (e.g., ES5, ES6) using Acorn’s parser. It’s aimed at developers who want to guarantee their Babel/Transpilation setup actually produces code compatible with the target runtime, especially when third‑party modules are left out of Babel processing.
