This project provides a reference architecture for building a platform engineering environment on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using GitOps principles. It enables Platform Engineering teams to deploy a control plane cluster with core infrastructure services and tools, then automatically provision and configure dedicated clusters for development teams using either Crossplane or Cluster API provider for Azure (CAPZ). The solution is designed for Platform Engineering teams looking to implement consistent, scalable multi-cluster environments on Azure while enabling development teams to focus on application deployment through GitOps workflows with ArgoCD.
