install‑local is a CLI‑ and library‑based tool that installs npm/yarn packages from the local filesystem exactly as they would be installed in production—using `npm pack` and a tarball install—without creating symlinks. It’s aimed at developers working with monorepos, testing package installations, or trying out local forks, and can be used directly from the command line or programmatically in Node scripts.
