grunt-doctoc is a Grunt plugin that automatically generates and updates a markdown Table of Contents in a project’s README (or any specified markdown file) using the doctoc script. It’s aimed at developers who use Grunt for their build workflow and want an easy way to keep documentation TOCs in sync, with options for custom headers, Bitbucket‑compatible output, and ad removal.
