xml‑naming is a tiny JavaScript library that implements the XML 1.0 and 1.1 name productions (Name, NCName, QName, NMToken, NMTokens). It provides fast Boolean checks, detailed validation results, batch validation and auto‑sanitising for XML/SVG element, attribute and DTD names, and is used by parsers such as fast‑xml‑parser. The package is aimed at developers who need reliable, spec‑compliant name validation when generating or processing XML documents.
