chrome‑remote‑interface‑extra is a Node library that layers a Puppeteer‑style, high‑level API on top of cyrus‑and’s chrome‑remote‑interface, giving developers fine‑grained, extensible access to the Chrome DevTools Protocol while still providing convenient helpers (pages, browsers, network, cookies, animations, etc.). It’s aimed at JavaScript developers who need more control than Puppeteer offers (or want to bring their own Chrome instance) for tasks such as automated browsing, testing, scraping, or performance analysis.
