Pickled cucumber is a lightweight wrapper around **cucumber‑js** that adds a richer Gherkin DSL for JavaScript/TypeScript tests. It introduces scenario‑scoped variables, built‑in aliases, easy‑to‑read `{op}` comparison operators, optional modules (usage docs, custom aliases, initial context, entity helpers, HTTP helpers, etc.) and handy teardown hooks, letting developers write clearer BDD specs for APIs, databases or any code‑base without leaving the familiar Cucumber workflow.
