The GitHub OpenID Connect Wrapper for Cognito is a tool that enables AWS Cognito to integrate with GitHub by providing an OpenID wrapper around the GitHub API. It is designed for developers who want to use GitHub as an OpenID Identity Provider (IdP) for federation with a Cognito User Pool, especially in scenarios where GitHub only provides OAuth2.0 endpoints and not OpenID Connect.
