iD is a friendly JavaScript editor for OpenStreetMap, designed to allow users to perform basic editing tasks without disrupting existing data. It is intended for OpenStreetMap contributors who want a simple, web-based tool for making edits, supporting modern desktop browsers but not yet mobile devices.
