`create-github-release` is a Node.js CLI (and programmatic) tool that automatically generates GitHub release notes by summarizing commits and file diffs between a given tag and the previous semantic‑versioned tag, then publishes the release to a specified repository. It’s aimed at developers who publish NPM modules or other projects and want a hands‑off way to create consistent, templated release entries directly from their CI/CD pipeline.
