ersatz‑ellip is a tiny utility that truncates any sequence‑like value (strings, arrays, etc.) to a maximum length, inserting an ellipsis (or a custom gap) in the middle. It’s aimed at developers who need a simple, generic “preview” or shortened representation of data without pulling in larger formatting libraries.
