Penrose is a system for creating beautiful mathematical diagrams by writing plain text specifications in the form of Substance and Style programs. It is designed for mathematicians, educators, and researchers who want to visualize complex mathematical concepts, such as set theory, through intuitive and customizable diagrams. The system uses optimization to generate diagrams that accurately represent the relationships and constraints defined in the code.
