oauth-sign is a standalone Node.js module for generating OAuth 1.0 signatures, supporting multiple signature methods including HMAC-SHA1, HMAC-SHA256, RSA-SHA1, and PLAINTEXT. It was originally part of the request library but is now available as an independent module for developers who need to implement OAuth 1.0 authentication in their applications.
