This project provides a sample Chrome Debug Protocol (CDP) proxy for extending `vscode-js-debug` to support custom debugging targets like WebAssembly or React Native. It enables developers to create custom debuggers by translating between CDP and the protocol used by their target application, allowing `vscode-js-debug` to work with esoteric targets. The proxy is particularly useful for extension developers building debuggers for non-standard JavaScript environments.
