Shins is a Node‑JS tool that converts Markdown (or AsciiDoc) API docs into a single‑page, Slate‑style static website, complete with syntax‑highlighted code samples, TOC, and optional custom branding. It’s aimed at developers who want to generate clean, self‑contained HTML API reference pages (or host them on GitHub Pages, Heroku, etc.) without needing Ruby‑based Slate. (Development has been superseded by the ReSlate project.)
