vite-plugin-wasm is a Vite plugin that adds native WebAssembly ESM support (the same “asyncWebAssembly” behavior Webpack provides) and handles modules generated by wasm‑pack. It’s aimed at web developers using Vite (any version 2‑8) who want to import `.wasm` files—both in the main thread and in workers—without custom loaders, often alongside top‑level‑await support.
