Shepherd is an asynchronous dependency injection system for Node.js, designed to manage and resolve dependencies in a non-blocking manner. Developed in 2012 for Node.js v0.8, it was used at Medium but is now deprecated and no longer maintained. It is not recommended for use in modern projects.
