TSPL (Test Planner for `node:test`) is a utility that ensures your tests execute the exact number of planned assertions, failing if the count is not met or the plan is incomplete. It's designed for developers using Node.js's built-in `node:test` and `node:assert` modules, particularly those on versions prior to Node 20.15.0 or 22.2.0 where this functionality is not yet native. The project is now largely superseded by `context.plan()` in newer Node.js versions.
