png‑tools is a low‑level, dependency‑free JavaScript library for creating, reading, and manipulating PNG files. It targets developers who need fine‑grained control over PNG encoding (e.g., adding DPI, ICC profiles, custom chunks), streaming or multithreaded processing, and works across Node, Deno, Bun, the browser and other runtimes.
