lettercoder is a small TypeScript library that runs both in Node and the browser to decode e‑mail encodings. It implements RFC 2045 quoted‑printable decoding (returning strings or raw byte arrays) and RFC 2047 MIME‑word decoding, making it useful for any JavaScript/TypeScript application that needs to parse e‑mail headers or bodies.
