**gulp-directory-map** is a Gulp plugin that takes a stream of files and generates a single JSON file describing the directory hierarchy of those files (optionally with a URL prefix). It’s aimed at front‑end build pipelines where you need a programmatic map of the built file structure—for example to create navigation data or to inspect the output layout.
