tendermint (js‑tendermint) is a JavaScript‑implemented light client for Tendermint‑based blockchains that runs in Node.js and browsers. It syncs to a chain by fetching and cryptographically verifying headers via RPC, while also providing a simple RPC wrapper for direct queries. The library is aimed at developers building lightweight, client‑side applications that need read‑only access to Tendermint networks (e.g., dApps, wallets, or monitoring tools).
