vtvalidate is a lightweight Node.js library that checks whether a Mapbox Vector Tile (spec 2.x) is syntactically valid. It exposes a simple `isValid` API (and a CLI) that returns an empty string for conformant tiles or a descriptive error message for invalid ones, making it useful for developers and GIS pipelines that need automated validation of vector‑tile data.
