**ansi‑diff** is a small Node.js library that tracks changes between successive text buffers and emits the difference as ANSI escape sequences, allowing a terminal UI to refresh only the parts that actually changed. It’s aimed at developers building command‑line applications or dashboards that need efficient, flicker‑free updates (e.g., live logs, progress displays, or interactive consoles).
