The **ntlm‑client** library provides a lightweight Node.js HTTP/HTTPS client that can transparently access resources protected with Basic, NTLM v1 or NTLM v2 authentication, falling back to Basic if NTLM isn’t supported. It uses only the native `http`/`https` modules (plus a tiny md4 helper), works with both JavaScript and TypeScript, and is aimed at developers who need to call NTLM‑secured APIs without pulling in heavy external dependencies.
