ember-cli-release is an Ember CLI add‑on that adds a `ember release` command for automating version bumping, git tagging, committing, pushing and optional NPM publishing of Ember apps or add‑ons. It’s aimed at Ember developers who want a configurable, hook‑driven workflow for SemVer, date‑based or custom release strategies, replacing the manual `npm version` process. (The project is now deprecated in favor of the generic release‑it tool.)
